There’s something powerful about stepping away from the day-to-day and coming together to serve the community as a team.
Our MHI volunteer day was all about restoration, teamwork, and purpose. Employees rolled up their sleeves to cut, chip, and remove brush, clear debris from the dam area, repaint signs, mow trails and fields, and treat invasive species to help restore and preserve the landscape for everyone who enjoys it.
The day also gave our team valuable hands-on experience using new equipment in a real-world setting — building skills, confidence, and collaboration while making a meaningful impact.
One of the most inspiring parts of the day was seeing employees bring their families and kids to volunteer alongside the team. Watching everyone work together across generations made the experience even more meaningful and reinforced the importance of community, connection, and shared purpose.
